Teacher: Sarah Evans
This workshop is designed to teach paper piecing skills and techniques. You'll then be able to transfer your skills to larger projects on your own. Quilt artist Sarah Evans will guide you through how to measure and cut your fabric, explain color and value theory, and how to shape and hand-piece your fabric in to beautiful mosaic designs.
Of course, your blocks will be your own completely unique designs!
Skills Requirement: Comfortable using and threading a hand needle, using scissors
*Fabric Requirement: 2 half-yards or fat quarters of quilting weight fabric of your choice, preferably one light and one dark.
- Safe use of a rotary cutter and quilt ruler techniques
- How to prepare and assemble fabric using paper piecing techniques
- We Will Provide:
- Tools, machines and black, white or neutral thread for use in class
Recommended Supplies: These items will be available for use in class and for purchase in the shop.

- self-healing cutting mat
- quilting pins

Registration and Cancellation**: Please register in advance. Classes with less than 50% enrollment may be cancelled at the discretion of the instructor within 72 hours of the first class. In this case, a full refund will be given. Full refunds granted up to 2 weeks before first scheduled class. After that, and up to 72 hrs before a scheduled class, cancellations will result in credit toward another class on a stand-by basis. Cancellations within 72 hrs or less of a scheduled class are non-refundable/non-transferable unless the class sells out.
