We are beyond excited to announce our first knitting retreat in collaboration with Laura & Allyson in Berrien Springs, Michigan this March!
What could be better than an all-inclusive three-night weekend of knitting and workshops in a gorgeous house with catered meals, pizza party, wine and cocktails, hot tubs, and your choice of programming and room accommodations?? Seriously...
The rundown: We'll start the day Friday afternoon departing from Stitchworks in Evanston. Rooms will be ready upon arrival and a weekend of knitting indulgence will begin. You'll spend three days and nights building your own program, as structured or free as you like, talking shop, life and everything else with fiber loving friends all basking in an immersive experience. We'll return to reality Monday morning fresh, inspired and ready to carry the spirit and energy of our weekend into the emerging spring.

Once your reservation is secured with a deposit, you'll receive questionaires to determine your preferences for workshops and accommodations. Rooms will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis.

FAQ
Where is the retreat?
Berrien Springs is roughly an 1 hour and 20 minute drive from Evanston. It’s just over the Michigan/Indiana state border.
Classes?
There will be one-on-one project help classes throughout the weekend. There will also be optional break-out class sessions scheduled through out the weekend taught by Laura McDougal of Laura & Allyson (www.lauraallyson.com).
Transportation?
We can coordinate a carpool ride for you if you need a ride to the retreat. We also offer a shuttle service if more than one attendee needs transportation help. Shuttle and car pool pick up/ drop off will be at Evanston Stitchworks.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made up to 3 weeks prior to the retreat are eligible for a balance payment refund minus a 10% administration fee. Deposits are non-refundable.
Because of the potential for a dramatic Michigan weather event, if there is a blizzard and we have to cancel the retreat you will get a full refund.
