Maximo is a chunky, machine-washable yarn made of fine merino wool from Argentina. 

Our merino fibers come from Argentina. This certification pays special attention to animal welfare. It also guarantees safe working conditions, fair wages, and regulated working hours. Child labor is, of course, prohibited. Compliance with the standard is ensured through regular checks at every step of the production process: from the farm to washing, spinning, and dyeing.

Through a biotechnological process called Lanazym, the wool is treated with enzymes that reduce its tendency to felt and pill – while preserving all its natural properties.

Merino fibers have a spring-like structure, which makes them naturally resilient and highly elastic. They are also covered with a natural protective layer that prevents dirt from penetrating the fibers. The antibacterial properties of wool additionally reduce odor. Thanks to these self-cleaning qualities, it’s usually enough to simply air out merino clothing. If washing is necessary, Maximo knitwear can be easily machine-washed on a wool cycle at low temperatures. It won’t shrink or wrinkle!

Yarn Returns: Unwound skeins in original condition may be returned for credit within 3 weeks of purchase date. Opened yarn or yarn more than 3 weeks from point of purchase is not returnable or exchangeable.
